What is aw0k3n alg0rithms?

Check them out: Website | Twitter | Discord

Mathematically generative art that is produced purely from code, is reminiscent of a 2D lava lamp. Each aw0k3n alg0rithm is a generation of unique code that lives on-chain, that creates an output of infinitely new results. The origin numbers define a narrow scope for the algorithm to operate in, this is passed through a repeating n-dimensional noise function. This results in an infinitely generating but never repeating “living” alg0rithm. A simpler way to think of it is – looping but never repeating. These colorful forever-looping NFTs would look great paired with an OLED screen displaying the perpetual vibrant colors in an abstract and artistic manner. We applaud the team for offering high-resolution screenshots as well to add another value to this unique take of art through mathematics! Check out their website for examples and how the code works, it’s really fascinating.

What is Merthings?

Merthings is a project that grabs your attention through unique artwork, especially in the NFT space. Artwork that is more closely related to children’s books and cartoons, Merthings has this oceanic charm from that doodle-like drawing that creates a strong visual that immediately identifies this project. More than just pretty pictures, Merthings is also donating to 5 Gyres Institute, a leader in the global movement against plastic pollution. We all know how bad that plastic is getting in our waterways, now you could help this team give back! It’s a win-win, you get a fresh-minted NFT and cleaner oceans. Merthings just dropped and are still currently minting, check them out for more information.

What is Fraktoid?

Yet another one for the Math fans, Fraktoid looks to take computer generative fractal designs to the next level. Fractal, an Infinitely complex set of patterns that are self-similar on different scales. They are created by repeating a process of curves and shapes over and over in an ongoing feedback loop, finishing with a one-of-a-kind image. Each Fraktoid is uniquely generated and is minted in groups of 1,111 each. These groups move up at price as old groups sell out. Get yours today in the lower groups before it is too late. Math never looked so good!

What is PartyAnimals?

What happens when a pig, giraffe, a duck, and an elephant get into a room together? They throw a party! PartyAnimals is a fun social club in which houses some great community elements that we have yet to see in the ecosystem. By minting an NFT, you get to join one of the clubs consisting of other PartyAnimal members. Each participant can choose a song to be part of the club playlist that is linked to Spotify! Along with the Club fun, PartyAnimals looks to become a social club for NFT collectors and music lovers alike. It is yet to be seen as if each club has its own unique perk other than the theme, but for music lovers, this can be a great way to get into new music. We love the decentralized playlist aspect and look forward to bumping some beats with other PartyAnimals in the future. PartyAnimals is now minting in its first phase!

What is Bitfins?

What looks like part Angry Birds and part Mario Bros. fish, Bitfins looks to capture the hearts of fish lovers everywhere. 5,000 NFTs will be made with 6 species of fish including 5 rarities for each. Imagine collecting a small bag of these NFTs in hopes to create a virtual fish tank. Well, dream no more! Bitfins is dedicated to creating an interactive NFT aquarium that hosts these Bitfin NFTs as well as any other NFT you may have. Future drops will also include aquarium items to decorate and personalize your tank. Each fish exhibits personality traits that may be friendly or even hostile to other fish in your tank. We are unclear what this does, but the team is still working on the finishing phases. If you like aquariums but hate cleaning the fish poop, check out Bitfins today!
